Meptin 5 mcg/ml (60 ml)

Indication

Bronchodilator for relief of bronchospasm in bronchial asthma, acute and chronic bronchitis and other obstructive airway diseases.

Ingredients

• Procaterol hydrochloride 5 mcg/ml

Direction

Take orally as directed by a physician. Children 6 years and older: 5 ml (25 mcg) once daily at bedtime or twice daily (morning and bedtime). Children under 6 years: 0.25 ml/kg (1.25 mcg/kg) two to three times daily. Adults: 10 ml (50 mcg) once or twice daily. Adjust according to age and severity.

Side effects

• Palpitations or fast heartbeat
• Tremor
• Headache
• Nausea
• Serious arrhythmia with excessive use

Precautions

• Prescription bronchodilator
• use only as directed and do not exceed the prescribed dose.
• Use with caution in hyperthyroidism

• heart disease or diabetes.
• Contains alcohol 3% v/v.
