Procold Paracetamol + Pseudoephedrine + Chlorpheniramine

Indication

Procold is a combination cold and flu remedy used to relieve symptoms of the common cold and influenza, including fever, headache, nasal congestion, and runny nose.

Ingredients

• Paracetamol 500 mg
• Pseudoephedrine HCl 30 mg
• Chlorpheniramine maleate 2 mg

Direction

Adults and children 12 years and over: 1–2 tablets every 4–6 hours as needed. Do not exceed 8 tablets in 24 hours. Take with or without food.

Side effects

• Drowsiness or sedation (due to chlorpheniramine).
• Dry mouth
• nose
• or throat.
• Insomnia
• restlessness
• or palpitations (due to pseudoephedrine).
• Nausea or upset stomach.
• Urinary retention (in susceptible individuals).

Precautions

• Do not use with other products containing paracetamol to avoid overdose.
• Do not use if you have severe liver or kidney disease.
• Use with caution in patients with hypertension
• heart disease
• diabetes
• thyroid disorder
• or benign prostatic hypertrophy.
• Pseudoephedrine may cause insomnia or nervousness
• avoid use before bedtime.
• Chlorpheniramine may cause drowsiness
• do not drive or operate heavy machinery.
• Avoid alcohol during use.
• Not for use in children under 12 years without medical advice.
