Diaryl 200 mg

Indication

Intestinal antibacterial indicated for the treatment of acute bacterial diarrhoea.

Ingredients

• Nifuroxazide 200 mg

Direction

Children from 6 years: 3-4 capsules per day divided into 2-4 doses. Adults: 4 capsules per day divided into 2-4 doses. Treatment must not last longer than 7 days. Maintain adequate fluid intake (oral rehydration) during diarrhoea.

Side effects

• Allergic reactions such as skin rash
• urticaria or angioedema (rare)
• Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use and stop if irritation or allergy occurs.

Precautions

• Do not use if allergic to nitrofuran derivatives.
• Do not exceed 7 days of treatment
• see a doctor if diarrhoea persists
• or with fever
• blood in stools or signs of dehydration.
• Rehydration is essential during diarrhoea.
• Not for children under 6 years in this capsule form.
• Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use and stop if irritation or allergy occurs.
