Indication
Antiseptic mouthwash for oral hygiene and bad breath; prevention and adjunctive treatment of oral affections (gingivitis, etc.); disinfection of removable dentures; reduction of dental plaque accumulation.
Ingredients
- Chlorhexidine digluconate 0.09 g per 90 ml
Direction
Adults and children 6 years and older: rinse the mouth with 15–30 ml for 30 seconds, 2–3 times daily after meals. If you brush your teeth, rinse your mouth carefully with water before using Septyl. Do not swallow. Children under 6 years: consult a doctor or pharmacist.
Side effects
- Brown staining of teeth and tongue with prolonged use
- Temporary taste disturbance or burning sensation in the mouth
- Rarely allergic reactions
- Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use and stop if irritation or allergy occurs.
Precautions
- Do not swallow

- Rinse the mouth with water after brushing before use
- as toothpaste can reduce the effect of chlorhexidine
- Do not use in case of allergy to chlorhexidine
