Tezole 2% (10 g)

Indication

Topical antifungal for fungal skin infections: tinea corporis, tinea cruris and tinea pedis, tinea (pityriasis) versicolor, cutaneous candidiasis and seborrhoeic dermatitis.

Ingredients

• Ketoconazole USP 20 mg/g (2%)

Direction

Apply to the affected and immediately surrounding area once or twice daily. Usual duration: tinea corporis/cruris about 2 weeks, tinea versicolor 2 weeks, tinea pedis up to 6 weeks; continue for a few days after symptoms clear. For external use only.

Side effects

• burning or stinging at the application site
• Contact dermatitis or allergic skin reactions (rare)
