Tidact Gel 1% (20 g)

Indication

Topical antibiotic gel for the treatment of acne vulgaris (inflammatory pimples).

Ingredients

• Clindamycin phosphate 11.9 mg per g (equivalent to clindamycin 10 mg
• 1%)

Direction

For external use only. Wash and dry the skin, then apply a thin film to the affected skin area twice daily. Please refer to the enclosed leaflet for more details.

Side effects

• Skin dryness
• peeling
• redness
• burning or itching at the application site
• oily skin
• Rarely diarrhoea or colitis — stop use and see a doctor if severe or persistent diarrhoea occurs
• Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use
• stop use and seek advice if irritation or an allergic reaction occurs.

Precautions

• Controlled medicine
• for external use only — avoid contact with the eyes
• mouth and broken skin
• Do not use if allergic to clindamycin or lincomycin
• or with a history of colitis
• Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding only on medical advice
