Biotine Bayer 0.5% (5 mg/1 ml)

Indication

Treatment of diffuse alopecia (hair loss) in adults.

Ingredients

• Biotin (vitamin H) 5 mg per 1 ml ampoule

Direction

Intramuscular (I.M.) injection. For treatment of alopecia in adults: attack dose 1-2 ampoules by I.M. injection, 3 times a week, as directed by a doctor.

Side effects

• Pain or reaction at the injection site.
• Allergic reactions are possible but rare.
• Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use and stop if irritation or allergy occurs.

Precautions

• Contraindicated in allergy to any of the ingredients.
• Biotin may interfere with some laboratory tests (e.g. thyroid hormones
• troponin)
• inform your doctor before blood tests.
