Indication

Prevention and treatment of vitamin D deficiency, including rickets and osteomalacia, particularly where intermittent high-dose supplementation is required.

Ingredients

• Cholecalciferol (vitamin D3) 200
• 000 IU per 1 ml

Direction

Intramuscular injection or oral route (the ampoule may be taken by mouth, mixed with a little liquid). Strictly follow the dose prescribed by the doctor; a single ampoule is usually repeated only after several months. Use immediately after opening.

Side effects

• Overdose may cause hypercalcaemia: nausea
• vomiting
• thirst
• frequent urination
• fatigue
• headache.
• Pain at the injection site.

• strictly follow the prescribed doses.
• Do not use in hypercalcaemia
• hypercalciuria or calcium kidney stones.
