Indication

Calcium supplementation for increased demand or calcium deficiencies, such as in growing children, pregnancy and breastfeeding, convalescence, rickets, recovery from fractures and as supportive treatment of osteoporosis.

Ingredients

• Calcium glubionate 2938.59 mg
• Calcium lactobionate 639.83 mg

Direction

Oral administration only - do not inject. Break both ends of the ampoule and let the solution flow into a glass; take with water during or just after meals. Usual dose: adults 1 ampoule (10 ml) 3-4 times daily; children 12-17 years 10 ml 1-3 times daily; children 2-11 years 5 ml 1-2 times daily, or as directed by a doctor.

Side effects

• Digestive disorders may occur.
• Prolonged high doses may cause hypercalcaemia.
• Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use and stop if irritation or allergy occurs.

Precautions

• Do not use in hypercalcaemia
• hypercalciuria or hypersensitivity to any ingredient.
• Use with caution in kidney or heart disease or risk of kidney stones
