Indication

Broad-spectrum fungicide and trichomonacide for vaginal infections such as vaginal candidiasis (yeast infection) and trichomoniasis.

Ingredients

• Clotrimazole USP 200 mg

Direction

Insert one vaginal insert deep into the vagina with the applicator once daily at bedtime for 3 consecutive days, or as directed by the doctor. See the directions in the package insert.

Side effects

• Local burning
• itching or irritation of the vagina
• Lower abdominal cramps (uncommon)
• Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use and stop if irritation or allergy occurs.

Precautions

• Do not use if allergic to clotrimazole or other imidazole antifungals
• Not to be swallowed
• for vaginal use only
• Avoid use during menstruation
• May damage latex condoms and diaphragms
• Use during pregnancy only on medical advice
