Samprazol 30 mg

Indication

Treatment of duodenal and gastric ulcers, gastro-oesophageal reflux disease and erosive oesophagitis, Helicobacter pylori eradication in combination with antibiotics, and hypersecretory conditions such as Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.

Ingredients

• Lansoprazole 30 mg (as enteric
• coated pellets)

Direction

As directed by the physician. Usually 1 capsule once daily before breakfast, swallowed whole with water; do not crush or chew.

Side effects

• Headache
• dizziness
• Diarrhoea
• abdominal pain
• nausea or constipation
• With long
• term use: low magnesium or vitamin B12
• increased fracture risk

Precautions

• Gastric malignancy should be excluded before treatment.
• Use with care in liver impairment
• pregnancy and breastfeeding.
