Calcibronat 2 g

Indication

Symptomatic treatment of mild sleep disorders, irritability and nervousness in adults and children over 30 kg.

Ingredients

• Calcium bromo
• galactogluconate (calcium bromo lactobionate) 2 g per effervescent tablet

Direction

Oral use. Dissolve the tablet in half a glass of water. Adults: 1 to 2 effervescent tablets per day. Children over 30 kg: 1 effervescent tablet per day. Do not exceed 2 tablets per day in adults or 1 tablet per day in children; short courses only (about 3 weeks) unless advised by a doctor. Read the leaflet before use.

Side effects

• Drowsiness
• especially in the elderly or at high doses
• Signs of bromide overdose (bromism) with prolonged use: irritability
• confusion
• skin rash/acne
• hallucinations
• Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use and stop if irritation or allergy occurs.

Precautions

• Risk of drowsiness: avoid driving or operating machinery
• Contains sodium (about 241 mg per tablet) and sucrose
• take into account in salt
• restricted diets or diabetes
• Avoid alcohol and other sedatives
• not for children under 30 kg
