Strepsils Throat Irritation & Cough 15 mg

Indication

Mucolytic lozenge that helps clear the airways and controls chesty cough caused by excessive tenacious mucus; soothes throat irritation.

Ingredients

• Ambroxol hydrochloride 15 mg

Direction

Adults: dissolve two lozenges in the mouth, one after the other, 3 times a day. Children 5-10 years: dissolve one lozenge in the mouth 3 times a day.

Side effects

• Gastrointestinal upset such as nausea or abdominal discomfort may occur.
• Taste disturbance or numbness of the mouth and throat may occur.
• Rarely
• allergic reactions including rash or severe skin reactions

Precautions

• Do not use if allergic to ambroxol or any ingredient.
• Not for children under 5 years.
