Indication

Broad-spectrum anthelmintic for pinworm, threadworm, roundworm, hookworm and whipworm infections. Mixed fruit flavour, alcohol free and sugar free.

Ingredients

• Mebendazole 100 mg/5 mL

Direction

Shake well before use. Adults and children over 2 years (same dose): pinworm or threadworm - 1 teaspoon (5 mL) as a single dose, repeated if necessary after 2 to 3 weeks; roundworm, hookworm and whipworm - 1 teaspoon twice daily, morning and evening, for 3 consecutive days.

Side effects

• Abdominal pain
• nausea or diarrhoea may occur
• especially with heavy worm infections.
• Rarely allergic reactions such as rash or itching.
• Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use and stop if irritation or allergy occurs.

Precautions

• Do not use in children under 2 years unless advised by a doctor.
• Avoid during pregnancy
