Pediaprofen 50 mg/1.25 ml (30 ml)

Indication

Short-term symptomatic treatment of fever, common cold and flu, and mild to moderate pain in infants and children; up to 8 hours of relief.

Ingredients

• Ibuprofen 50 mg per 1.25 ml

Direction

Shake well and measure only with the syringe; give every 6-8 hours if needed, no more than 4 doses in 24 hours. 6-11 months (6-9 kg): 1.25 ml; 1-3 years (10-15 kg): 2.5 ml; 4-5 years (16-19 kg): 3.75 ml; 6-9 years (20-29 kg): 5 ml; 10-11 years (30-39 kg): 7.5 ml; 12 years and older (over 40 kg): 7.5-10 ml.

• Rarely gastrointestinal bleeding or allergic reaction

Precautions

• Do not use with other NSAIDs or other ibuprofen
• containing medicines
• Do not use in active stomach ulcer
• bleeding disorders
• severe kidney
• liver or heart disease
• Avoid during chickenpox (varicella) and in dehydrated children
• Not recommended in the last 3 months of pregnancy
• Stop use and ask a doctor if there are signs of intestinal bleeding
