Indication
Treatment of infections caused by susceptible bacteria, such as uncomplicated urinary tract infections, otitis media, pharyngitis and tonsillitis, sinusitis, and acute bronchitis.
Ingredients
- Cefixime (as cefixime trihydrate) 100 mg
Direction
As prescribed by a doctor; children usually 8 mg/kg/day as a single dose or divided into 2 doses every 12 hours. Dissolve the sachet contents in a little water before drinking. Read the enclosed package insert carefully before use.
Side effects
- Diarrhoea
- loose stools
- abdominal pain
- nausea or indigestion.
- Skin rash
- itching or other allergic reactions
- rarely severe colitis.

Precautions
- Do not use in case of allergy to cephalosporins
- use with caution if allergic to penicillins or with kidney impairment.
