Zinec Cetirizine 2HCl 10mg

Indication

Cetirizine is a second-generation antihistamine used to relieve symptoms of allergic rhinitis (seasonal and perennial) and chronic urticaria (hives) including itching, sneezing, and runny nose.

Ingredients

• Cetirizine dihydrochloride 10 mg

Direction

Adults and children 12 years and over: 10 mg once daily. Children 6–11 years: 5 mg twice daily or 10 mg once daily. Take with or without food.

Side effects

• Drowsiness or fatigue.
• Dry mouth or headache.
• Gastrointestinal upset (rare).

Precautions

• Reduce dose in patients with renal impairment.
• May cause mild drowsiness
• exercise caution when driving or operating machinery.
• Avoid alcohol use during treatment.
• Not recommended for children under 2 years without medical supervision.
