CIPROLAR-FC Cream 15g

Indication

CIPROLAR-FC Cream is used for the treatment of bacterial skin infections complicated by inflammation, such as infected eczema, impetigo, infected dermatitis, and other bacterial skin infections responsive to ciprofloxacin.

Ingredients

• Ciprofloxacin 0.3%
• Fluocinolone acetonide 0.025% (or similar corticosteroid)

Direction

Adults: Apply a thin layer to the affected area 2–3 times daily. Clean the affected area before applying. Do not use for more than 7–10 days without medical advice.

Side effects

• Burning or stinging at the application site.
• Skin irritation or redness.
• Contact dermatitis.
• Skin superinfection with resistant organisms (with prolonged use).
• Allergic reaction (rare).

Precautions

• Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.
• Not for ophthalmic use unless labeled for eye use.
• Avoid use on large areas of skin.
• Do not use in patients with known hypersensitivity to fluoroquinolones.
• Prolonged use may lead to bacterial or fungal overgrowth.
• Not recommended in children under 2 years without medical advice.
• Consult a doctor if skin condition worsens.
• Keep out of reach of children.
