Nasal Spray NO DRIP 15ml

Indication

Nasal Spray NO DRIP is used for the relief of nasal congestion associated with the common cold, hay fever (allergic rhinitis), sinusitis, and other upper respiratory tract conditions that cause nasal blockage.

Ingredients

• Xylometazoline hydrochloride 0.1% (or 0.05% for paediatric)

Direction

Adults and children over 12 years: 1–2 sprays into each nostril up to 3 times daily. Do not use for more than 5–7 consecutive days. Children 6–12 years: Use 0.05% formulation, 1 spray per nostril up to 2 times daily, under medical supervision.

Side effects

• Burning or stinging sensation in the nasal passages.
• Dryness or irritation of the nose or throat.
• Temporary sneezing.
• Rebound congestion (rhinitis medicamentosa) with prolonged use.
• Elevated blood pressure or palpitations (with excessive use).
• Headache.

Precautions

• Do not use for more than 7 consecutive days to avoid rebound congestion (rhinitis medicamentosa).
• Not for use in children under 6 years without medical advice.
• Use with caution in patients with cardiovascular disease

• or glaucoma.
• Avoid use in patients taking MAOIs.
• Not recommended during pregnancy without medical advice.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Do not share nasal sprays between individuals.
