Naphazoline HCl Solution (敏宵滴) 10ml

Indication

Naphazoline HCl Solution is a nasal or ophthalmic decongestant used for the temporary relief of nasal congestion due to colds, hay fever, or sinusitis, and for the relief of redness of the eye due to minor irritation.

Ingredients

• Naphazoline hydrochloride 0.1%

Direction

Nasal use — Adults and children over 12 years: 1–2 drops or sprays in each nostril up to 3 times daily. Do not use for more than 3–5 days. Ophthalmic use — Adults: 1–2 drops in the affected eye(s), up to 4 times daily. Do not use for more than 3 days without medical advice.

Side effects

• Burning or stinging sensation.
• Rebound congestion or redness with prolonged use.
• Elevated blood pressure (with excessive use).
• Drowsiness in children (with nasal use).
• Headache.

Precautions

• Do not use for more than 3–5 days to avoid rebound congestion.
• Not for children under 12 years without medical advice (0.1% formulation).
• Use with caution in patients with hypertension
• heart disease
• hyperthyroidism
• or diabetes.
• Avoid if you have narrow
• angle glaucoma (ophthalmic use).
• Do not use with MAOIs.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Discard 4 weeks after opening.
