Panadol 500mg

Indication

Panadol 500 mg is used for the relief of mild to moderate pain such as headache, toothache, backache, period pain, and fever reduction.

Ingredients

• Paracetamol (Acetaminophen) 500 mg

Direction

Adults and children 12 years and over: Take 1–2 tablets every 4–6 hours as needed. Do not exceed 8 tablets (4 g) in 24 hours. Children 6–11 years: half adult dose. Always use the lowest effective dose.

Side effects

• Rare at recommended doses.
• Liver damage with overdose.
• Allergic reactions (rash
• swelling) — rare.
• Blood disorders with prolonged high
• dose use — very rare.

Precautions

• Do not exceed the recommended dose
• overdose can cause serious liver damage.
• Avoid alcohol while taking paracetamol.
• Use with caution in patients with liver or kidney disease.
• Do not take with other paracetamol
• containing products.
• Consult a doctor if fever lasts more than 3 days or pain more than 10 days.
• Keep out of reach of children.
