Entacyd Plus Antacid

Indication

Entacyd Plus is an antacid and antiflatulent used to relieve heartburn, acid indigestion, gastric hyperacidity, bloating, and discomfort associated with gas and excess stomach acid.

Ingredients

• Aluminium hydroxide 250 mg
• Magnesium hydroxide 250 mg
• Simethicone 40 mg

Direction

Adults: Take 1–2 tablets, chewed or dissolved, or 10–20 ml suspension, 30–60 minutes after meals and at bedtime. Do not exceed 12 tablets or 60 ml per day. Consult a physician if symptoms persist for more than 2 weeks.

Side effects

• Constipation (aluminium).
• Diarrhoea (magnesium).
• Nausea.

Precautions

• Do not use for prolonged periods without medical advice.
• Use with caution in renal impairment (risk of aluminium and magnesium accumulation).
• May reduce absorption of other medicines
• take other drugs 2 hours apart.
• Keep out of reach of children.
