Panadol Cold+Flu 500mg

Indication

Panadol Cold+Flu is a combination product used to relieve symptoms of cold and flu, including fever, headache, nasal congestion, and runny nose.

Ingredients

• Paracetamol 500 mg
• Phenylephrine hydrochloride 5 mg
• Chlorpheniramine maleate 2 mg

Direction

Adults and children 12 years and over: Take 2 tablets every 4–6 hours. Do not exceed 8 tablets in 24 hours. Take with water.

Side effects

• Drowsiness (chlorpheniramine).
• Dry mouth
• nose
• or throat.
• Difficulty urinating.
• Increased heart rate or blood pressure (phenylephrine).
• Nausea.

Precautions

• Do not take with other paracetamol
• containing products.
• Avoid in patients with uncontrolled hypertension
• severe coronary artery disease
• or hyperthyroidism.
• May cause drowsiness — avoid driving or operating machinery.
• Avoid alcohol.
• Consult a physician if symptoms persist more than 7 days.
• Keep out of reach of children.
