Indication

Vitamine C 500 is used for the prevention and treatment of vitamin C deficiency (scurvy), and as a dietary supplement to support immune function, wound healing, and antioxidant protection.

Ingredients

Vitamin C (Ascorbic acid) 500 mg

Direction

Adults: Take 1 tablet or sachet (500 mg) once daily, or as directed by a physician. Dissolve effervescent forms in water before taking.

Side effects

Gastrointestinal discomfort (nausea
diarrhoea) at high doses.
Kidney stones with chronic high
dose use.
Headache.

Precautions

High doses (>2 g/day) may cause kidney stones in predisposed individuals.
May increase iron absorption
caution in haemochromatosis.
Use with caution in patients with renal impairment.
May interfere with blood and urine glucose tests.
Keep out of reach of children.
