Cold Kit-4 Paracetamol/Phenylephrine/Levocetirizine/Dextromethorphan

Indication

Cold Kit-4 is a combination cold and flu remedy used to relieve fever, nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing, and dry cough associated with cold and flu.

Ingredients

• Paracetamol 500 mg
• Phenylephrine hydrochloride 10 mg
• Levocetirizine hydrochloride 5 mg
• Dextromethorphan hydrobromide 15 mg

Direction

Adults: Take 1 tablet every 8–12 hours (up to twice daily), or as directed by a physician. Do not exceed 2 tablets in 24 hours.

Side effects

• Drowsiness.
• Dry mouth.
• Nausea.
• Elevated heart rate or blood pressure.
• Dizziness.

Precautions

• Do not take with other paracetamol
• containing products.
• Avoid in patients with uncontrolled hypertension or cardiovascular disease (phenylephrine).
• May cause drowsiness (levocetirizine)
• avoid driving.
• Do not use with MAO inhibitors or within 14 days of stopping them (dextromethorphan interaction).
• Avoid alcohol.
• Keep out of reach of children.
