Nasal Spray Extra Moisturizing Oxymetazoline HCl

Indication

Nasal Spray Extra Moisturizing (Oxymetazoline) is a topical nasal decongestant used for the temporary relief of nasal congestion due to colds, hay fever, sinusitis, and other upper respiratory allergies. The moisturizing formulation helps to keep nasal passages hydrated.

Ingredients

• Oxymetazoline hydrochloride 0.05% (0.5 mg per ml)

Direction

Adults and children 6 years and over: 2–3 sprays into each nostril twice daily (morning and evening). Do not use for more than 3 consecutive days without medical advice.

Side effects

• Rebound congestion with prolonged use.

Precautions

• Do not use for more than 3 days — prolonged use may cause rebound congestion (rhinitis medicamentosa).
• Contraindicated in patients on MAO inhibitors.
• Use with caution in patients with hypertension

• Not for use in children under 6 years.
• Keep out of reach of children.
