Punchderm MAX Multi-ingredient antifungal cream

Indication

Punchderm MAX is a combination topical antifungal, corticosteroid, and antibiotic cream used to treat mixed skin infections involving fungal, bacterial, and inflammatory components such as infected eczema, tinea (ringworm), and intertrigo.

Ingredients

• Clotrimazole 1%
• Beclomethasone dipropionate 0.025%
• Neomycin sulphate 0.5%

Direction

Adults: Apply a thin layer to the affected area two to three times daily. Wash hands before and after application. Do not apply under occlusive dressings unless directed by a physician. Treatment duration is usually 2–4 weeks.

Side effects

• Local skin irritation

• Contact dermatitis (neomycin sensitisation).
• Striae or skin discolouration with extended corticosteroid use.

Precautions

• Do not use on the face
• genitalia
• or underarm area without medical advice.
• Avoid prolonged use

• term corticosteroid application may cause skin thinning and striae.
• Do not use on broken skin
• open wounds
• or in or near the eyes.
• Neomycin may cause sensitisation and allergic contact dermatitis.
• Not for use during pregnancy without medical advice.
• Keep out of reach of children.
