Indication
Polysilane is an antiflatulent and antacid gel used for symptomatic relief of bloating, flatulence, abdominal distension, heartburn, and acid indigestion caused by excess gas and stomach acid.
Ingredients
- Dimeticone (Simethicone) — concentration as per Polysilane formulation (typically gel: 4.7% + aluminium/magnesium hydroxide)
Direction
Adults: Take 1–2 sachets or tablespoons of gel after meals and at bedtime, or as directed. Shake well if suspension form.
Side effects
- Constipation or diarrhoea (depending on aluminium/magnesium balance).
- Nausea.
Precautions
- Do not use for prolonged periods without consulting a physician.
- Use with caution in renal impairment.
- Keep out of reach of children.
