Polysilane Dimeticone

Indication

Polysilane is an antiflatulent and antacid gel used for symptomatic relief of bloating, flatulence, abdominal distension, heartburn, and acid indigestion caused by excess gas and stomach acid.

Ingredients

• Dimeticone (Simethicone) — concentration as per Polysilane formulation (typically gel: 4.7% + aluminium/magnesium hydroxide)

Direction

Adults: Take 1–2 sachets or tablespoons of gel after meals and at bedtime, or as directed. Shake well if suspension form.

Side effects

• Constipation or diarrhoea (depending on aluminium/magnesium balance).
• Nausea.

Precautions

• Do not use for prolonged periods without consulting a physician.
• Use with caution in renal impairment.
• Keep out of reach of children.
