Indication

AB Lanso DR 30 is a proton pump inhibitor used to treat gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GERD), peptic ulcer disease (duodenal and gastric), and as part of H. pylori eradication combination therapy.

Ingredients

• Lansoprazole 30 mg (delayed

Direction

Adults: Take 1 capsule (30 mg) once daily before a meal. For GERD: continue for 4–8 weeks. Swallow whole; do not crush or chew.

Side effects

• Headache.
• Nausea or diarrhoea.
• Abdominal pain.
• Flatulence.
• Hypomagnesaemia with prolonged use.

Precautions

• Long
• term use may increase risk of bone fractures and vitamin B12/magnesium deficiency.
• Use with caution in severe liver disease.
• May reduce efficacy of clopidogrel
• avoid co
• administration.
• Keep out of reach of children.
