Prezen Doxylamine Succinate + Pyridoxine HCl

Indication

Prezen is used to treat nausea and vomiting of pregnancy (morning sickness). Doxylamine is a first-generation antihistamine with antiemetic properties; pyridoxine (vitamin B6) helps reduce nausea. The combination is specifically indicated for pregnancy-related nausea and vomiting.

Ingredients

• Doxylamine succinate 10 mg
• Pyridoxine hydrochloride 10 mg

Direction

Adults (pregnant women): Initially take 2 tablets at bedtime. If symptoms persist, an additional half tablet may be taken in the morning and/or afternoon as directed by the physician. Take on an empty stomach. Do not crush or chew tablets.

Precautions

• For use only during pregnancy for nausea and vomiting — use under medical supervision.
• May cause drowsiness — do not drive or operate machinery.
• Avoid alcohol and other CNS depressants.
• Do not use in the first trimester if safer alternatives are available without medical guidance — always follow physician advice.
• Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to doxylamine

• Use with caution in patients with asthma
• glaucoma

• or urinary retention.
• Keep out of reach of children.
