Alaxan FR Ibuprofen 200mg + Paracetamol 325mg

Indication

Alaxan FR is an analgesic and antipyretic combination used to relieve mild to moderate pain including headache, toothache, muscle ache, backache, and to reduce fever. The combination provides complementary analgesia through different mechanisms.

Ingredients

• Ibuprofen 200 mg
• Paracetamol (Acetaminophen) 325 mg

Direction

Adults and children 12 years and over: Take 1–2 tablets every 4–6 hours as needed with food or milk. Do not exceed 3 doses (6 tablets) per 24 hours. Take with a full glass of water and with food to reduce stomach upset.

• Risk of liver damage with paracetamol in overdose

Precautions

• Do not exceed recommended dose — risk of paracetamol
• related liver damage at high doses.
• Do not use if allergic to ibuprofen
• aspirin
• NSAIDs
• or paracetamol.
• Contraindicated in patients with active peptic ulcer
• gastrointestinal bleeding
• or severe renal or hepatic impairment.
• Avoid use in third trimester of pregnancy.
• Use with caution in patients with asthma
• cardiovascular disease
• or bleeding disorders.
• Avoid alcohol — increases risk of GI bleeding (ibuprofen) and liver damage (paracetamol).
• Do not take with other NSAIDs
• aspirin
• or paracetamol
• containing products.
• Keep out of reach of children.
