Indication

Telfast 120 mg (fexofenadine) is a non-sedating second-generation antihistamine used to relieve symptoms of seasonal allergic rhinitis (hay fever) including sneezing, runny/itchy nose, and watery/itchy eyes in adults and adolescents.

Ingredients

• Fexofenadine hydrochloride 120 mg

Direction

Adults and adolescents 12 years and over: Take one 120 mg tablet twice daily (morning and evening), with water. Do not take with fruit juice (apple, orange, grapefruit) as this significantly reduces absorption. Take on an empty stomach.

• Drowsiness (minimal)
• Nausea (rare)
• Dizziness (rare)

Precautions

• Do not use if allergic to fexofenadine or terfenadine.
• Avoid fruit juice (apple
• orange
• grapefruit) within 2 hours of dosing.
• Avoid antacids containing aluminium and magnesium within 2 hours of dosing.
• Use with caution in patients with severe renal impairment.
• Consult a doctor before use in pregnancy or breastfeeding.
• Keep out of reach of children.
