Indication
Tiril Plus 2 is a combination cold and flu remedy used for symptomatic relief of fever, headache, body ache, nasal congestion, runny nose, and sneezing associated with the common cold and influenza.
Ingredients
- Paracetamol 500 mg
- Phenylephrine HCl
- Chlorpheniramine maleate
Direction
Adults and children 12 years and over: Take 1–2 tablets every 4–6 hours as needed. Do not exceed 8 tablets in 24 hours. Take with or after food.
Side effects
- Drowsiness
- dizziness (chlorpheniramine)
- Dry mouth
- urinary retention
- Nausea
- stomach upset
- Increased blood pressure (phenylephrine)
Precautions
- Do not exceed recommended dose — risk of paracetamol hepatotoxicity.
- Do not use concurrently with other paracetamol
- containing products.
- Chlorpheniramine causes drowsiness — avoid driving or operating machinery.
- Phenylephrine: use with caution in hypertension
- heart disease
- diabetes
- and hyperthyroidism.
- Do not use within 14 days of MAO inhibitor therapy.
- Avoid alcohol during treatment.
- Keep out of reach of children.
