Indication
Dynamogen is a tonic indicated for the prevention and treatment of iron-deficiency states and nutritional fatigue. It is used as an adjunct in conditions of general weakness, convalescence, and nutritional deficiencies including iron-deficiency anemia with associated B-vitamin insufficiency.
Ingredients
- Iron (as ferric pyrophosphate) 40 mg
- Thiamine (B1) 1 mg
- Riboflavin (B2) 1 mg
- Pyridoxine (B6) 1 mg
- Cyanocobalamin (B12) 2 mcg
Direction
Adults: 1 ampoule (10 ml) once or twice daily, diluted in water or juice, or as directed by a physician. Take preferably with meals to reduce gastrointestinal discomfort.
Side effects
- Gastrointestinal upset: nausea
- epigastric pain
- constipation or diarrhea.
- Dark discoloration of stools (normal with iron supplementation).
- Rarely: allergic reactions.
Precautions
- Do not use in patients with haemochromatosis
- haemosiderosis
- or other iron
- overload conditions.
- Use with caution in patients with inflammatory bowel disease or intestinal strictures.
- May reduce absorption of tetracycline antibiotics and fluoroquinolones
- space dosing by at least 2 hours.
- Consult a physician before use during pregnancy or in children.
- Keep out of reach of children.
