Indication
Ka.Na.Zym Vitamins B injectable is used for the prevention and treatment of Vitamin B complex deficiencies, including thiamine, riboflavin, niacin, and pyridoxine deficiencies associated with poor nutrition, alcoholism, malabsorption states, and conditions of increased demand.
Ingredients
- Thiamine hydrochloride (B1) 100 mg
- Riboflavin (B2) 2 mg
- Pyridoxine hydrochloride (B6) 5 mg
- Nicotinamide (B3) 40 mg
- Cyanocobalamin (B12) 1 mcg per ampoule (approximate
- based on standard Vitamin B Complex injectable formulations)
Direction
Adults: 1 ampoule by IV or IM injection once daily, or as directed by a physician. Administer slowly IV or by deep IM injection.
Side effects
- IM injection may be painful at injection site.
- Rarely: hypersensitivity/anaphylactic reactions (particularly with IV thiamine).
- Paresthesia
- skin flushing (with niacin component).
Precautions
- Hypersensitivity reactions may occur
- particularly with thiamine injection
- have resuscitation facilities available for IV use.
- Use with caution in patients with known allergies.
- Keep out of reach of children.
