Ka.Na.Zym Vitamins B Vitamin B Complex Injectable

Indication

Ka.Na.Zym Vitamins B injectable is used for the prevention and treatment of Vitamin B complex deficiencies, including thiamine, riboflavin, niacin, and pyridoxine deficiencies associated with poor nutrition, alcoholism, malabsorption states, and conditions of increased demand.

Ingredients

• Thiamine hydrochloride (B1) 100 mg
• Riboflavin (B2) 2 mg
• Pyridoxine hydrochloride (B6) 5 mg
• Nicotinamide (B3) 40 mg
• Cyanocobalamin (B12) 1 mcg per ampoule (approximate
• based on standard Vitamin B Complex injectable formulations)

Direction

Adults: 1 ampoule by IV or IM injection once daily, or as directed by a physician. Administer slowly IV or by deep IM injection.

Side effects

• IM injection may be painful at injection site.
• Rarely: hypersensitivity/anaphylactic reactions (particularly with IV thiamine).
• Paresthesia
• skin flushing (with niacin component).

Precautions

• Hypersensitivity reactions may occur
• particularly with thiamine injection
• have resuscitation facilities available for IV use.
• Use with caution in patients with known allergies.
• Keep out of reach of children.
