ADIPIN 5 Amlodipine 5mg

Indication

ADIPIN 5 is a calcium channel blocker used for the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure) and the prophylaxis of chronic stable angina pectoris and vasospastic (Prinzmetal's) angina.

Ingredients

• Amlodipine 5 mg

Direction

Adults: 5 mg once daily. The dose may be titrated up to 10 mg once daily after 7–14 days if required, as directed by a doctor. Take at the same time each day, with or without food.

Side effects

• Peripheral oedema (ankle swelling).
• Headache.
• Flushing.
• Dizziness.
• Fatigue.
• Nausea.
• Palpitations.

Precautions

• Do not discontinue without medical advice.
• Use with caution in severe hepatic impairment.
• Avoid grapefruit or grapefruit juice.
• May cause ankle oedema
• inform your doctor.
• Consult a doctor during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
• Monitor blood pressure regularly.
• Keep out of reach of children.
