Indication
ADIPIN 10 is a calcium channel blocker used for the treatment of hypertension and the prophylaxis of chronic stable angina pectoris and vasospastic angina in patients requiring a higher dose.
Ingredients
- Amlodipine 10 mg
Direction
Adults: 10 mg once daily, as directed by a doctor. Take at the same time each day, with or without food.
Side effects
- Peripheral oedema (ankle swelling) — more common at 10 mg.
- Headache.
- Flushing.
- Dizziness.
- Fatigue.
- Nausea.
- Palpitations.
Precautions
- Do not discontinue without medical advice.
- Use with caution in severe hepatic impairment.
- Avoid grapefruit or grapefruit juice.
- Higher dose (10 mg) may increase risk of peripheral oedema.
- Consult a doctor during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
- Monitor blood pressure regularly.
- Keep out of reach of children.
