ALAXAN FR Ibuprofen 200mg + Paracetamol 325mg

Indication

ALAXAN FR is a combination analgesic and antipyretic used for the relief of mild to moderate pain such as headache, toothache, muscle pain, backache, dysmenorrhoea, and for reducing fever.

Ingredients

• Ibuprofen 200 mg
• Paracetamol 325 mg

Direction

Adults and children 12 years and over: 1–2 tablets every 6 hours as needed. Do not exceed 4 doses (6–8 tablets) in 24 hours. Take with food or milk to minimise stomach upset.

Side effects

• Gastrointestinal upset
• nausea
• or heartburn.
• Abdominal pain.
• Dizziness.
• Liver damage with overdose (paracetamol).
• Gastrointestinal bleeding with prolonged NSAID use.
• Allergic reactions (rare).

Precautions

• Do not take with other products containing paracetamol or NSAIDs.
• Avoid alcohol during treatment.
• Use with caution in patients with peptic ulcer
• gastritis
• or GI bleeding history.
• Not recommended for patients with severe kidney or liver disease.
• Not recommended during third trimester of pregnancy.
• Not for children under 12 years.
• Seek medical advice if pain or fever persists beyond 5 days.
• Keep out of reach of children.
