Indication
Herbal lozenges used to soothe the throat, relieve minor throat irritation, and provide symptomatic relief of mild cough and congestion.
Ingredients
- Ginger extract (strength varies)
- Menthol (strength varies)
- Eucalyptol (strength varies)
Direction
Adults and children over 6 years: dissolve one lozenge slowly in the mouth every 2–3 hours as needed. Do not chew. Maximum 6–8 lozenges per day.
Side effects
- Generally well tolerated.
- Mild gastrointestinal discomfort if used in excess.
- Rarely: allergic reactions in individuals sensitive to the herbal ingredients.
Precautions
- Not recommended for children under 6 years due to choking risk.
- Consult a doctor if symptoms worsen or persist beyond 7 days.
- Contains menthol
- avoid use in infants and very young children.
- Not a substitute for prescribed medication in severe respiratory conditions.
