BOSKA Paracetamol 500mg + Caffeine 30mg

Indication

Used for the relief of mild to moderate pain including headache (including tension headache and migraine), dental pain, menstrual pain, and fever. Caffeine enhances the analgesic effect of paracetamol.

Ingredients

• Paracetamol 500 mg
• Caffeine 30 mg

Direction

Adults and children 12 years and over: 1–2 tablets every 4–6 hours as needed. Maximum 8 tablets in 24 hours. Do not use for more than 3 days for fever or 7 days for pain without medical advice.

Side effects

• Generally well tolerated at recommended doses.
• Insomnia
• restlessness
• palpitations (due to caffeine).
• Rarely: hepatotoxicity with overdose.
• Rarely: severe allergic reactions.

Precautions

• Do not exceed the recommended dose
• paracetamol overdose can cause liver failure.
• Avoid taking with other paracetamol
• containing products simultaneously.
• Use with caution in patients with liver disease
• alcoholism
• or chronic malnutrition.
• Contains caffeine
• avoid excessive caffeine intake from other sources.
• Not recommended for children under 12 years.
