ALONA-100 Aceclofenac BP 100mg

Indication

A non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used for the symptomatic relief of pain and inflammation in osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, dental pain, and other musculoskeletal conditions.

Ingredients

• Aceclofenac 100 mg

Direction

Adults: 100 mg twice daily (morning and evening) with food or milk. Maximum 200 mg per day. Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration.

Side effects

• Nausea
• dyspepsia
• abdominal pain
• diarrhoea.
• Gastrointestinal ulceration or bleeding.
• Elevated liver enzymes.
• Dizziness
• headache.
• Skin rash.
• Rarely: severe hepatic reactions
• cardiovascular events.

Precautions

• Contraindicated in patients with active peptic ulcer
• gastrointestinal bleeding
• or severe renal
• hepatic
• or cardiac impairment.
• Contraindicated in the third trimester of pregnancy.
• Avoid in patients with hypersensitivity to aspirin or other NSAIDs.
• Use with caution in elderly patients.
• May increase the risk of cardiovascular thrombotic events with prolonged use.
• Not recommended for children under 18 years.
• Consult a doctor before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
