Indication
A non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used for the symptomatic relief of pain and inflammation in osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, dental pain, and other musculoskeletal conditions.
Ingredients
- Aceclofenac 100 mg
Direction
Adults: 100 mg twice daily (morning and evening) with food or milk. Maximum 200 mg per day. Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration.
Side effects
- Nausea
- dyspepsia
- abdominal pain
- diarrhoea.
- Gastrointestinal ulceration or bleeding.
- Elevated liver enzymes.
- Dizziness
- headache.
- Skin rash.
- Rarely: severe hepatic reactions
- cardiovascular events.
Precautions
- Contraindicated in patients with active peptic ulcer
- gastrointestinal bleeding
- or severe renal
- hepatic
- or cardiac impairment.
- Contraindicated in the third trimester of pregnancy.
- Avoid in patients with hypersensitivity to aspirin or other NSAIDs.
- Use with caution in elderly patients.
- May increase the risk of cardiovascular thrombotic events with prolonged use.
- Not recommended for children under 18 years.
- Consult a doctor before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
