Indication
Antiseptic lozenges used for the symptomatic relief of sore throat infections and mouth infections. The antiseptic agents help kill bacteria and viruses in the mouth and throat, while vitamin C supports recovery.
Ingredients
- Dichlorobenzyl alcohol 1.2 mg
- Amylmetacresol 0.6 mg
- Ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) 100 mg
Direction
Adults and children over 6 years: dissolve one lozenge slowly in the mouth every 2β3 hours as needed. Maximum 8 lozenges per day.
Side effects
- Generally well tolerated.
- Mild local irritation (rare).
- Rarely: allergic reactions.
Precautions
- Not recommended for children under 6 years.
- Consult a doctor if symptoms worsen or persist beyond 7 days.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Not a substitute for prescribed antibiotics in confirmed bacterial infections.
