Indication

Antiseptic lozenges used for the symptomatic relief of sore throat and mouth infections. The antiseptic agents help reduce bacteria in the mouth and throat.

Ingredients

• Dichlorobenzyl alcohol (strength not confirmed)
• Amylmetacresol (strength not confirmed)

Direction

Adults and children over 6 years: dissolve one lozenge slowly in the mouth every 2–3 hours as needed. Maximum 8 lozenges per day.

Side effects

• Generally well tolerated.
• Mild local irritation.
• Rarely: allergic reactions.

Precautions

• Not recommended for children under 6 years.
