Indication
Used for the relief of mild to moderate pain (headache, dental pain, menstrual pain, muscular pain) and reduction of fever in children and adults.
Ingredients
- Paracetamol 200 mg per sachet
Direction
Children 3–6 years (approximately 14–21 kg): one sachet (200 mg) every 4–6 hours as needed. Children 6–12 years: one to two sachets every 4–6 hours. Adults: per physician's direction. Dissolve contents in a small amount of water before taking. Maximum 4 doses in 24 hours. Take with food if gastrointestinal discomfort occurs.
Side effects
- Generally very well tolerated at recommended doses.
- Rarely: hepatotoxicity in overdose.
- Rarely: severe skin reactions (Stevens
- Johnson syndrome — very rare).
- Rarely: allergic reactions.
Precautions
- Do not exceed the recommended dose
- paracetamol overdose can cause liver failure.
- Do not use with other paracetamol
- containing products simultaneously.
- Use with caution in patients with hepatic impairment or chronic alcohol use.
- Keep out of reach of children.
