RAMOL 125 Syrup Paracetamol 125mg/5ml Oral Syrup

Indication

Used for the relief of mild to moderate pain and reduction of fever in infants and young children.

Ingredients

• Paracetamol 125 mg per 5 ml

Direction

Children 3 months to 1 year (4–10 kg): 2.5 ml (62.5 mg) every 4–6 hours. Children 1–5 years (10–18 kg): 5 ml (125 mg) every 4–6 hours. Maximum 4 doses in 24 hours. Shake well before use.

Side effects

• Generally very well tolerated at recommended doses.
• Rarely: hepatotoxicity in overdose.
• Rarely: allergic reactions
• severe skin reactions.

Precautions

• Do not exceed the recommended dose
• paracetamol overdose can cause liver failure.
• Do not use with other paracetamol
• containing products.
• Use with caution in patients with hepatic impairment.
• Do not use in infants under 3 months without medical supervision.
• Keep out of reach of children.
