Strepsils Cool Sensation Soothing Relief for Sore Throats Lozenges

Indication

Antiseptic lozenges used for the symptomatic relief of sore throat, mouth infections, and throat discomfort. Provides a cool soothing sensation.

Ingredients

• Dichlorobenzyl alcohol 1.2 mg
• Amylmetacresol 0.6 mg
• Levomenthol (cooling agent)

Direction

Adults and children over 6 years: dissolve one lozenge slowly in the mouth every 2–3 hours as needed. Maximum 8 lozenges per day.

Side effects

• Generally very well tolerated.
• Mild local irritation (rare).
• Rarely: allergic reactions.

Precautions

• Not recommended for children under 6 years.
• Consult a doctor if sore throat is severe or persists beyond 7 days.
• Contains menthol
• avoid in infants and young children.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Not a substitute for prescribed antibiotics.
