Indication
Antiseptic lozenges used for the symptomatic relief of sore throat, mouth infections, and throat discomfort. Provides a cool soothing sensation.
Ingredients
- Dichlorobenzyl alcohol 1.2 mg
- Amylmetacresol 0.6 mg
- Levomenthol (cooling agent)
Direction
Adults and children over 6 years: dissolve one lozenge slowly in the mouth every 2β3 hours as needed. Maximum 8 lozenges per day.
Side effects
- Generally very well tolerated.
- Mild local irritation (rare).
- Rarely: allergic reactions.
Precautions
- Not recommended for children under 6 years.
- Consult a doctor if sore throat is severe or persists beyond 7 days.
- Contains menthol
- avoid in infants and young children.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Not a substitute for prescribed antibiotics.
