Panadol Cold+Flu Cold and Flu Tablets, Non-drowsy

Indication

Used for the relief of symptoms associated with cold and flu, including nasal congestion, headache, body aches, sore throat, and fever. Non-drowsy formula.

Ingredients

• Paracetamol 500 mg
• Pseudoephedrine hydrochloride 30 mg

Direction

Adults and children 12 years and over: Take 2 tablets every 4–6 hours as needed. Do not take more than 8 tablets in 24 hours. Do not exceed the stated dose.

Side effects

• Restlessness or insomnia
• Increased heart rate (palpitations)
• Increased blood pressure
• Nausea
• Headache
• Rare: serious skin reactions (discontinue if rash develops)

Precautions

• Do not take with other paracetamol
• containing products.
• Do not use if you are taking monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) or have used them within the past 14 days.
• Avoid use in patients with severe hypertension
• coronary artery disease
• or hyperthyroidism.
• Use with caution in patients with liver or kidney impairment.
• Do not use in patients with diabetes
• as pseudoephedrine can affect blood glucose.
• Not recommended for children under 12 years.
• Consult a doctor if symptoms persist for more than 5 days.
