PANOL 100mg Paracetamol 100mg Suppositories, Fever and Pain Relief

Indication

Used for the relief of mild to moderate pain and reduction of fever in infants and young children who are unable to take oral medication.

Ingredients

• Paracetamol 100 mg

Direction

For rectal use only. Insert one suppository into the rectum. Children 1–3 years (10–15 kg): one 100 mg suppository every 4–6 hours as needed. Do not exceed 4 doses in 24 hours. Follow physician's advice for dosing based on the child's weight.

Side effects

• Local rectal irritation (uncommon)
• Rare: allergic reactions such as skin rash
• Overdose may cause serious liver damage

Precautions

• Do not use with other paracetamol
• containing products.
• Use with caution in patients with liver or kidney impairment.
• Do not exceed the recommended dose.
• Consult a doctor if fever persists for more than 3 days or pain for more than 5 days.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Store suppositories in the refrigerator to maintain shape before use.
