Indication
Relief of symptoms of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis, urticaria (hives), and other allergic conditions such as sneezing, runny nose, itchy eyes, and skin itching.
Ingredients
- Loratadine USP 10mg
Direction
Adults and children over 12 years: 1 tablet (10mg) once daily. Children 6–12 years: 5mg once daily (use half tablet or appropriate formulation). Take with or without food.
Side effects
- Headache
- nervousness (in children).
- Fatigue
- dry mouth.
- Rare: drowsiness
- tachycardia
- allergic reactions.
Precautions
- Use with caution in patients with severe hepatic impairment (reduce dosing frequency).
- Loratadine is generally non
- sedating but caution is advised when driving.
- Consult a doctor before use in pregnancy or breastfeeding.
- Keep out of reach of children.
