Indication

Relief of symptoms of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis, urticaria (hives), and other allergic conditions such as sneezing, runny nose, itchy eyes, and skin itching.

Ingredients

• Loratadine USP 10mg

Direction

Adults and children over 12 years: 1 tablet (10mg) once daily. Children 6–12 years: 5mg once daily (use half tablet or appropriate formulation). Take with or without food.

Side effects

• Headache
• nervousness (in children).
• Fatigue
• dry mouth.
• Rare: drowsiness
• tachycardia
• allergic reactions.

Precautions

• Use with caution in patients with severe hepatic impairment (reduce dosing frequency).
• Loratadine is generally non
• sedating but caution is advised when driving.
• Consult a doctor before use in pregnancy or breastfeeding.
• Keep out of reach of children.
